Role: Global Franchise Management and Marketing

Led Franchise Management Strategy for J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World (Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts) for Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment business working with internal and external partners across all licensed experiences, products, Live entertainment, events, MarCom plans and activations around the world.

Here are some moments which remain in my personal highlights reel…

Universal Studios Hollywood
Role: Director, Marketing & Promotions (US and Mexico markets)

  • Launched first The Fast & The Furious attraction for Universal Pictures soon-to-be mega-franchise - Tokyo Drift

  • Worked on the park’s repositioning in 2005 resulting in the still-current tagline and brand identity as The Entertainment Capital of L.A.

  • Launched Fear Factor LIVE attraction inspired by NBC/Uni symphony hit property

  • Managed park’s sales partnership with Vons/Albertson’s that generated Universal Studios Hollywood’s ticket cards sold across their key regional grocers Vons, Stater Bros. and Pavilions

  • Managed sales programs from key Corporate Partner Coca-Cola

  • Part of the core team that successfully relaunched the updated and retooled Halloween Horror Nights event in 2006


Disneyland Resort
Role: Associate Manager, Marketing Strategy - Local Markets & Mexico

  • Launched the new Snow White - An Enchanting Musical LIVE show

  • Led resort-wide cross-functional team to launch the first Hispanic Heritage Month week-long event to engage with this key attendance segment - Disney Fiesta Latina

  • Worked on the launch of the first iteration of the new Tower of Terror attraction

  • Worked on the launch of the seasonal Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction overlay starring characters from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas

  • Part of the team launching Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary celebration


Exposición Universal Sevilla 1992

Puerto Rico Pavilion

Seville’s 1992 Universal Exposition - Seville, Spain

Attendance: 41.8M visitors [PR Pavilion - ~2-4M]

Participants: 120 countries - 109 pavilions

Duration: April 20th thru October 12, 1992

Role: Coordinator of Exhibitions

  • Oversaw and manage selection of all exhibition components for the pavilion

  • Managed formal RFP process for local and award-winning artists competing for inclusion into the pavilion art collection and on-site displays

  • Led exhibition content discussions and alignment with internal, government and Advisory Board

  • Handled shipping and logistics coordination for all exhibition elements working with Spanish government officials, transportation companies and vendors

  • Managed relationship with London-based design firm Fitch RS to design, manufacture and installs main exhibition room on-site in Seville

  • Acted as General Manager as part of core administrative team during the EXPO run between April and October 1992
